Kingsley Shbay

Physiotherapist

Kingsley completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Class I Honours at The University of Queensland in 2022 and was awarded the UQ University Medal for outstanding scholarship in 2023. Since graduating, Kingsley has developed a keen interest in vestibular physiotherapy while working as a rotational physiotherapist within Queensland Health. Kingsley also contributes to physiotherapy student education in his role as a Clinical Educator at The University of Queensland and The Prince Charles Hospital.

 

Kingsley has worked as a Vestibular Physiotherapist at The Prince Charles Hospital and provided care for both inpatients and outpatients presenting with dizziness and imbalance. He has undertaken additional training and professional development in this area including the 6-day Vestibular Education Australia clinical competency course. Kingsley has also completed courses in assessment and management of concussion and complex BPPV. With a passion for supporting the learning needs of physiotherapy students, Kingsley also assists with vestibular physiotherapy education at The University of Queensland.

 

Kingsley is passionate about helping people overcome dizziness and imbalance so that they can live their life to the fullest. He is known for his compassionate and patient-focused approach to managing vestibular symptoms and providing holistic care. As an active member within the Queensland Vestibular Network and the Australian Physiotherapy Association Neurology Special Interest Group, Kingsley delivers high value care by keeping up to date with the latest evidence and clinical practice recommendations.
