Your initial appointment in clinic or in your home
It is important we get to know you and your health difficulties. You are different and it is important we understand your goals and concerns and what you want to achieve. Our assessments are integrative and wholistic where we shall explore your symptoms and movements. Your family or support people are welcome to part of this. At the end of the consultation you will have an understanding of your pathology and why you have difficulties. We shall also provide you with clear explanations of what physiotherapy can offer. This session usually takes 1 hour – double the standard physiotherapy session – To help make this a success please wear suitable clothing and shoes for easy movement. Please feel free to talk with our staff to explore the options and service fees.
02
Follow Up Assessment
Follow up assessments for neurological, vestibular and movement disorder patients usually take 1 hour. Needs are complex and require considered integration to optimise recover and movement
enhancement. Again this is double the usual follow up time for Physiotherapy. Should your issue and needs be less complicated the physiotherapist will discuss with you and arrange for a shorter follow up session of 30 minutes.
